We propose you to live the adventure in grandiose scenery the time of a bivouac, closer to nature, to enjoy the beauty of oases and tabular mountains, in immersion in nomadic life.
In the early afternoon, we will leave by 4x4 from Foum Zguid towards the oasis Laarjimia. The oasis is located at the foot of the mountains of the Djebl Madouar El Kbir which is called the colorado of the Moroccan desert as they resemble the American mountains in its forms and colors. This green setting in the middle of the vast plains of the Iriki National Park offers a breathtaking view of the tabular plateaus with unique shapes including the «tajine» mountain.
We will join the bivouac installed by the team for a night in the heart of the oasis. You can enjoy the beautiful landscapes and the calm of the places, cross the camels that come to drink from the well and can be seen some lizards that hide in the middle of the rocks. Nearby, the small sand dunes remind us that the Sahara desert is so close. We will have lunch in the shade of palm trees and you can explore the surroundings to discover the treasures of this rich nature.
At sunset, the mountains will reveal their impressive colours of fire, ochre and red, a unique spectacle where time stops.
We will share a dinner by the fire, a time of exchange around the thousand and one stories of the desert. After watching the stars, you will enjoy a good night’s sleep in the tents, in the absolute silence of the oasis.
The next day, after a good Moroccan breakfast, we will return to Foum Zguid. You can also continue your route through the Iriki National Park to the dunes of the erg chegaga or join the road leading to Zagora in the east or Tata in the west, from Foum Zguid, to explore the great Moroccan south.
