This 4-day sports trek takes you from Mhamid along the Draa Valley to the great dunes of Chegaga to the rhythm of camels. On the morning of the 5th day, we leave Chegaga in 4×4 towards Lake Iriki by the track, then continue towards Foum Zguid where we will end our trip.
Departure from Mhamid in the morning with the camel caravan towards Krayat Jmal. Lunch en route. When we arrive, the camel drivers relieve the camels and we set up camp for the night. Dinner under the stars and first night in the silence and vastness of the desert.
We break camp after breakfast. After a morning walk, we take a lunch break in the shade of the tamarisk trees. We leave in the direction of Erg Bogarn where we will spend the night while the cooks prepare a delicious dinner for us. After an evening around the fire, we settle in for a well-deserved night's sleep after the day's walk.
After breakfast, we set off for another day in the desert towards Bouchentouf.
After breakfast we set off towards the magnificent dunes of Chegaga where you can take a refreshing shower and admire the sunset over this splendid dune massif. We will enjoy a festive evening around a typical Moroccan meal.
In the early morning, discovering the sunrise over the great dune of Chegaga is a breathtaking spectacle not to be missed. After breakfast, the 4x4s take us towards Zaouïat Sidi Abdenabi, 4 km north of Lake Iriki. We will stop in the oasis with a visit to the old ksar and the marabout. We then cross the dry Iriki lake towards Foum Zguid. Along the way, we will stop to admire a site rich in fossils. Arrival at Foum Zguid, the first small town before the desert for the end of this trek.
